CROHN’S DISEASE
Crohn͛s disease is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disorder that can affect any portion or the gastro-intestinal tract from mouth to anus. It involves a malfunction of the immune that leads to an aggressive immune attack against the body͛s own tissue namely the intestinal tissue.
There are a number of factors when combined trigger the development of Crohn’s disease.
These include:
Genetic predisposition
Bacterial infection
Integrity of the gut tissue and it’s lining
Food allergies and sensitivity
Stress
During the reproductive years, women͛s hormones are widely fluctuating. These hormonal fluctuations
frequently cause Hormonal disorders in many women.
Common Hormonal disorders include:
PCOS
Endometriosis
PMT (premenstrual tension)
Symptoms presenting:
Mayor digestive issues, such as bloating, abdominal pain, intestinal gas.
Diarrhoea
Bleeding
Malabsorption
